Introductory Mac
- This is Leopard 10.5 – this is the latest version of the Mac Operating system which you will have if your computer is less than 12 months old. It does take some things for granted.
- Some of the older versions are well worth a look as they show how to do some things they take for granted in the one above. Here is the simplest. Here is slightly more complicated.
iTunes version 7
This has most of what you might need but it does presume a few things so if you are a real beginner start with Version 6 and move up (there is some overlap) These are mac based but most is just the same. Only Version 6 is done for PC if you really get stuck.
There are lots of good training videos out there on these programs. Try Google, she knows everything!!
And, of course, Apple’s own help movies the iMovie ‘09 is here and you can soon find others from there! There are also lots of helpful PDFs that you can view or download from the NSSCF – Computers in Schools Program in your myclasses list in myinternet.
